Abstract

To address the need of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) targeting guinea pig cytokines, the Offeror proposes to generate antibody reagents for Th1 and Th2 cytokines. They will express guinea pig recombinant cytokines in vitro, generate rabbit MAbs for each selected cytokine using their established novel technology, produce and verify rabbit MAbs. The availability of these high affinity MAbs to guinea pig Th1 and Th2 cytokines will facilitate the immunological analysis using this animal model in the field of infectious diseases including studies in tuberculosis, zika viral infection, Ebola and influenza
