BioLINCC makes available online data from over 140 clinical studies and biospecimens from 49 study collections (4.0 million vials) linked at a vial level to the data in the Data Repository. This renewal will strengthen and expand the capabilities of BioLINCC into new areas including indexing phenotypic data, storing and sharing digital images and exploring making resources available through a cloud environment. This expansion will improve access to the NHLBI Biorepository and Data Repository, thereby maximizing their scientific value and utilization by the research community. The contractor shall provide a secure environment and the necessary administrative, statistical, programming, data management and informatics to maintain, enhance and expand the BioLINCC program. The government owned resources include clinical study datasets, computer programs, databases, informatics tools and documentation necessary to maintain the program. Additional electronic resources, such as digital images, may be added to the program over the period of the contract.
