## Abstract

As living with HIV has become a chronic health condition globally, it is widely accepted that other
health concerns will affect the quality of life of people living with HIV and increase their need to
access wider health services to reduce morbidity and mortality. In addition to an older population
Aging with HIV who require additional care and support for co-morbidities, infants Aging with HIV,
some of which are already adolescents or young adults, also require age-appropriate care and
support. It is thus more timely than ever to compile and share good practice examples of
integrated and/or differentiated health service delivery to maximise access to inclusive and quality
care.
To this end, the IAS would like to include a supplement to the current R33 NIH grant on Aging
with HIV to convene a session at IAS 2021 on the topic and to publish a JIAS supplement for
launch in 2022, with enhanced dissemination of the content to broaden the reach to additional
stakeholders to maximise impact. Drawing on the convening reach of the IAS, the intention would
be to connect the latest scientific evidence and leading community perspectives from around the
world, including low and middle income countries as well as more developed nations.
