Summary Dr. Ken Zaret (R01GM36477) and his NIGMS-funded collaborator Dr. Matt Good (R35- GM128748) request supplemental funding to purchase a Surface Plasmon Resonance device, to allow inter-molecular interactions to be quantified more accurately and faster than we can do by present means. The equipment would help advance our research substantially. This is a one-time request for equipment that costs $46,954, with $40,000 requested from NIGMS and the remainder from our Department (see Chair's letter).
