## Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY.
This application represents a research supplement to the parent award, R01HD093748 Relevance of polycystic
ovarian morphology in the clinical evaluation of PCOS, to promote diversity in health-related research. It aims to
support the career development of a doctoral student in the area of Nutrition and Reproductive Health. The
candidate will be mentored while engaging in research directly related to the parent award alongside career
development activities aimed at establishing a career as an independent researcher. These include formal
course work, seminars, conferences, scientific writing and communication, leadership development and training
in responsible conduct of research.
