# Administrative supplement to align with FAIR and TRUST principles

> **NIH NIH R01** · CARNEGIE-MELLON UNIVERSITY · 2021 · $212,128

## Abstract

This project seeks to strengthen the compliance of the CHILDES (Child
Language Data Exchange System) Project with the FAIR and TRUST standards.
CHILDES provides data in the form of transcripts and linked media for the study
of child language development. This supplement to the CHILDES grant will allow
us to improve the findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability of the
database. These improvements will transfer without further work to 13 other NIH
databases for the study of normal and disordered spoken language.
