ABSTRACT – Administrative Core The Administrative Core will support the coordination of efforts across the Center's research projects and cores and activities to advance integration into the broader HIPC network. The overarching goal of the Administrative Core is to ensure that the Projects and Cores successfully achieve the goals laid out for each unit and for the program as a whole. The specific responsibilities of the Administrative Core are: (1) provide the infrastructure and operational oversight for the overall management and coordination of the projects and cores; (2) promote effective collaboration and communication within the HIPC-Stanford Center and with the broader HIPC network; (3) provide and effective, centralized unit to manage finances and resources; and (4) broadly disseminate results and report Center activity. Dr. Pulendran, the overall PI of the HIPC-Stanford Center, is the Core Lead of the Administrative Core and he will be assisted by a Program Manager and an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Core will provide fully integrative administrative services for the management, communications, coordination, and financial administration of the Center. The Core will ensure productive collaborations through efficient management, leveraging the expert administrative and financial management resources of Stanford University to make the HIPC-Stanford Center outstanding in generating high impact research.
