# Center for Quantitative Biology: A focus on "omics", from organisms to single cells Project 2

> **NIH NIH P20** · DARTMOUTH COLLEGE · 2022 · $377,992

## Abstract

We will develop statistical methods for analyzing mutations that occur in noncoding regions of the genome and
likely contribute to the initiation or progression of cancer. These methods will give us better power to identify
driver mutations and mutations with regulatory effects. These methods will be applied on large genomic
datasets collected from cancer samples and will allow us to learn more about the genetic etiology of cancer.
