Abstract

The Center for Biomedicine and Genetics (CBG) at City of Hope (COH) is a cGMP manufacturing facility dedicated to providing COH researchers and their collaborators support in all aspects of translational research, including expertise in translating laboratory-based procedures for novel and emerging cell and gene therapy technologies to pilot-scale pre-clinical cGLP processes and fully cGMP=compliant manufacturing processes. IN this proposal, they propose to supply human embryonic stem cell (hESC)-derived cardiomayocytes (CM) to PACT investigator, Joseph Wu, MD, PhD (Stanford School of Medicine), in support of his IND-enabling research for his submitted IND.
