## Abstract

The main objective of this project is to investigate differential uranium exposure across three regions (Arizona, Oklahoma, and North/South Dakota) in American Indian communities, and assess the association between chronic uranium exposure and incidence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the Strong Heart Study (SHS). (Research using secondary data already available as part of the Strong Heart Study will be utilized to evaluate determinants of uranium exposure and the association of uranium with chronic kidney disease.)
