## Abstract

ABSTRACT: The overall objective and goals of the Administrative Core is to manage, coordinate, and
supervise all Center activities to effectively and optimally support the Stanford AViDD Center (“SyneRx”)’s
goals to develop outpatient antiviral drugs for coronaviruses and other RNA viruses of pandemic potential,
when used alone or in combination with other available agents. The Administrative Core will seek to deliver this
support to both the overall Center and its constituent Projects and Cores by: 1) implementing administrative
and leadership mechanisms via a management plan that will facilitate communication and cooperation among
the Project and Core leaders and with the greater consortium and investigators at other institutions so as to
ensure a maximally productive research effort; 2) monitoring the progress of each of the Research Projects
and Scientific Cores relative to their milestones for drug development; 3) providing an efficient infrastructure
support for new Developmental Research Projects and their oversight; 4) providing an efficient infrastructure
support for new Mentored Projects and their oversight; 5) providing an efficient, centralized unit for the
appropriate fiscal and administrative operation of SyneRx’s activities; and 6) providing dedicated regulatory
support to help formulate and manage a successful regulatory strategy for AViDD Center projects.
