## Abstract

Abstract: RESOURCE SUBAWARDS CORE
As the Resource Subawards Core, VentureWell will leverage their more than 25 years of
experience and network of providers in supporting CINTA innovators through providing technical
support in the fields of medical device commercialization and biomedical engineering. For
CINTA, VentureWell will expand the partnership with CIMIT that was developed as part of the
RADx Tech initiative by providing a diverse network of expert consultants, vendors, and service
providers tailored to supporting neuro medical devices. The Resource Core will manage a roster
of service providers, vendors, and individuals that can assist CINTA in providing support for
selected projects and will provide administrative and programmatic oversight for all resource
subawards. VentureWell will maintain a Qualified Resource Database, a database of experts,
vendors, and service providers that includes verified expertise as well as availability, timeline to
engagement, and expected rates for CINTA projects. As needs are identified by the Deep Dive
teams, the Resource Subawards Core will work to develop a relevant scope of work and assess
potential resources, both from the existing roster of resources and via solicitation of new or
competitive resources. Once a resource is matched to an innovator subproject, the scope of
work will be reviewed and confirmed by the Evaluation Core. Requests for resource support,
whether for individual consultant or vendors, will be managed via similar processes as in the
RADx Tech program; these processes have been streamlined based on lessons learned from
RADx Tech. Specifically, both individual consultants and vendors will develop a scope of work
with associated budgets, timelines, and deliverables, and once linked to an innovator subproject
and awarded, they will be managed to deliverables and milestones by the Resource Subawards
Core, in collaboration with the Mentor teams. Managing individual consultants and
vendors/service providers through the same process will maximize efficiency and streamline
project management and reporting.
