Project Summary, Data Analysis Core The Data Analysis Core provides end-to-end experimental and computational expertise: initial experimental design and power studies, ongoing data generation and analysis, and ultimate data deposition and sharing. The Data Analysis Core will support high-dimensional data generation and analysis for the Organ Specific Project, including multi-omics data integration methods at distinct biological scales. This Core will collaborate closely with the HuBMAP HIVE to harmonize data and pipelines to enable meta-analyses across tissues. Core Leaders will participate in the monthly Center Executive Committee meetings with the Organ Specific Project Lead and Consortium meetings to ensure ample experimental support and computational resources for new research directions and collaborations with HuBMAP. The Core will have a designated Project Manager and Data Manager to assist with data standards and harmonization, data validation, data wrangling, and overall data deposition, data and software sharing, and genomic data sharing with the HIVE. In summary, the Data Analysis Core will support the overall research objectives by providing robust, reproducible experimental protocols and computational methods to characterize the impact of skin location, sex, race, and aging on the cellular and molecular changes to skin; to analyze spatial and temporal data to infer interactions and crosstalk between cell types; and to integrate our atlas of three-dimensional multi-omics skin datasets with the HIVE to promote cross- tissue analyses in the HuBMAP Consortium.
