> **NIH NIH R01** · UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND BALTIMORE · 2022 · $234,094

## Abstract

Project Summary for Loss Supplement for R01AG061200
We are seeking supplemental support to replace mice that were unavoidably lost due to 1) the COVID
shutdown in spring/summer of 2020 and 2) an unexpected mortality/moribundity that struck our colony ~3
weeks following shipment of our colony from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine to the
University of Maryland School of Medicine. We are seeking funds to cover genotyping, cage costs, lentivirus,
lab supplies, and personnel time in order to complete the Aims of the parent grant.
