# Validation of blocking TSP4/Cava2d1 interaction as a new target for neuropathic pain

## Abstract

Abstract
We generate a wide variety of datasets and file types from our current HEAL-Initiative award (1R01DE029202).
Since a lot of these individual datasets may not have accepted community standards for transmission to and
storage at selected repositories, it is very difficult, if not impossible, for data centralized management and sharing
access by others, cross-discoverability, interpretation, reuse, and long-term preservation. To improve our data
management and sharing practice, we propose the following: (1) plans for conducting a self-assessment to
identify gaps or deficiencies in FAIRness unique to our data based on the guidelines from FAIR Evaluation
Services (FAIRSharing.org); (2) Plans for improving data FAIRness and developing or enhancing a data
management and sharing plan to be in line with current NIH policies; (3) Steps toward implementing enhanced
data management and sharing. Successful completion of the proposal will improve our data FAIRness, data
management and sharing practice to ensure in line with the NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing.
