Abstract This administrative supplement will enable the PI to attract an under-represented minority in health care research. The funding will be used for the research and training of Mr. Alejandro Simon (currently an undergraduate student at Yale). The proposed research is under Aim 1 of the parent grant: fast algorithms for segmentation and feedback for gain equalization. Alejandro’s work will not only showcase the unique capability of the adaptive excitation source, but also lay the foundation for a new class of adaptive excitation source for dynamically changing regions of interests.
