Abstract

Project Summary The applicant will gain research and experience by participating in clinic recruitment efforts and screening participants. Through literature review and stakeholder interviews, she will identify cultural, logistic, and communication barriers to recruitment and retention in ADHD clinical research, and (2) identify BIPOC community-led solutions to increase representation in research. This information will then be provided to the research team. During this year long experience, she will receive mentoring from Drs. Stein, Lion, and Bennett and participate in a variety community, clinical, and professional experiences to prepare for a future career in medicine.
