Abstract

The purpose of this task order is to acquire software development, technical enhancements, and operations and maintenance support for the NHLBI Public Website (https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov) of the National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute (NHLBI). As the third largest institute within the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the NHLBI mission is to provide global leadership for research, training, and education programs to promote the prevention and treatment of heart, lung, blood diseases, sleep disorders, and to enhance the health of all individuals so that they can live longer and more fulfilling lives. The Public Website requires enhancements of its capabilities to meet the NHLBI mission. This task order will continue software development, technical enhancements, and operations and maintenance work using ITAC’s Agile and DevOps methodologies. Though the current environment is not part of a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline, the Public Website’s software development will be migrated to the NHLBI ITAC DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline in the base period of the contract.
