Abstract

ABSTRACT The Immune Bioanalytics Core (IBC) will serve as a critical Shared Resource Core for our U54 SARS-CoV-2 Serological Sciences Center of Excellence. This centralized resource will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and expertise in high resolution, directed mass spectrometry for the robust and precise measure of over 500 immune mediators - including immune-modulatory proteins, acute phase proteins, cytokines and eicosanoids – across thousands of human biosamples. This IBC will be responsible for automated sample handling and curation for a number of sample types, protein and metabolite extraction, mass spectrometry and biochemical assay of immune factors, complex data integration, and data transfer, in support of the U54 Projects. As part of the larger SeroNet U54 Centers for Excellence, the IBC will further provide capacity and expertise for measure of immune-modulatory peptides and eicosanoids factors for all SeroNet investigators, as well as provide close assistance with data standardization and cross-Center integration.
