## Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY
On behalf of the seven Launching Future Leaders in Global Health Research Training Program (LAUNCH)
consortia, the NPGH LEADERs Program is requesting funding for the five-day 2023 LAUNCH Orientation for
new fellows. Planned for July 10-14 2023, this meeting will be held in person at the NIH Campus in Bethesda,
MD and will bring together trainees from all seven consortia under the program’s umbrella. Building upon more
than a decade of experience, this cornerstone activity prepares trainees across a range of subjects—both
scientific and applied in nature—to support their year of training and their future careers in global health
research. It also provides important networking opportunities with consortia faculty, international collaborators,
NIH leaders, alumni, and other trainees working in the same regions and/or in the same topical areas.
