Under task area A of the parent contract, SPF Macaque Colonies Maintenance, Care and Breeding; Provision of Research Progeny; and Project Management, Alpha Genesis, Inc. will continue to maintain government-owned non-human primate (NHP) breeding colonies of Indian-origin rhesus macaques and Mauritian cynomolgus macaques and supply healthy, specific-pathogen free macaques for biomedical research to support research conducted by the NHP Primate Transplantation Tolerance Cooperative Study Group.
