Abstract

The Dale and Betty Bumpers Vaccine Research Center (VRC) of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), at the National Institutes of Health, was established to facilitate research in vaccine development and is dedicated to improving global human health through the rigorous pursuit of effective vaccines and treatments for human diseases. One of the key components of the VRC's mission involves the rapid advancement of promising candidates from the laboratory to the clinic. Meeting this mission necessitates the development and manufacturing of vaccines for toxicology, and Phase 1/11 clinical trials.
