Abstract

To support a Memorandum of Understanding sets forth the terms and understanding between the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM), through the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), pertaining to anti-microbial resistance (AMR) services and resources. The objective of this MOU is to continue to support and expand the services and resources available through NCBI to include, but not limited to: I. Maintenance and expansion of existing resources as described above (NDARO, AMRFinder, nomenclature, and AMR gene collection) II. Integrate AMR data with other NCBI databases III. Enhance AMR genomic epidemiology analysis through NCBI and NDARO. IV. Increase interoperability with non-NLM AMR repositories and knowledge bases V. Enhance the visibility and usage of AMR data in PubChem VI. Offering outreach and training activities related to the AMR resources at NCBI.
