Project Summary/Abstract The Center for ELSI Resources and Analysis (CERA) provides the ELSIhub platform to enhance the production, sharing, and use of scholarship and resources focused on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genetics and genomics and builds the community of stakeholders with an interest in ELSI research. The proposed implementation of a suite of accessibility upgrades will increase the overall impact of the center by facilitating the full participation of stakeholders with mobility, cognitive, hearing, and visual disabilities. CERA has already taken steps to establish a diverse and inclusive environment by proactively seeking and responding to input from groups traditionally underrepresented in research. To extend our current efforts, this request for supplemental funding is undertaken to: 1) advance the accessibility level of the ELSIhub online platform so that it is in conformance with established criteria at the highest possible international standard, 2) enhance broad participation in CERA convenings and use of archived resources by attending to the communication modalities of all stakeholders, and 3) catalyze uptake of accessibility measures by others in the genomics community by modeling accessibility practices and sharing downloadable resources.
