Abstract

Abstract The primary goal of this project is to further develop, implement, and sustain MDFSB's best practices for a high-quality regulatory program to enhance food safety. This would entail the strengthening of interagency collaboration, cooperation, communication, and sustainment of conformance with the Manufactured Food Regulatory Program Standards (MFRPS). Grant funds will be used to enhance current dairy inspection program capabilities and provide the necessary infrastructure to continue further development and sustainment of MFRPS. MDFS also proposes a special project to update its Emerging Threats Database (ET) to manage daily business activities such as licensing, registration, certification, permitting, inspection, traceability, compliance, and enforcement.
