## Abstract

Project Summary
The Data Science Shared Resource (DSSR) of the H2CAREE initiative aims to provide comprehensive data
support, ensure data integrity, and facilitate FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) data
curation. DSSR is co-led by a team of experts from Johns Hopkins University Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive
Cancer Center, and Howard University, with diverse backgrounds and complementary expertise. The DSSR will
implement advanced database technologies, optimize data access, and establish an analytical framework for
scientific rigor and reproducibility. The DSSR plans to develop advanced curation tools, incorporate artificial
intelligence, and create analytic tools to manage data. The shared resource will also focus on integrating health
equity and disparity attributes into the existing data model and developing an analytics infrastructure to improve
health equity. The DSSR is committed to continuous advancement, promoting collaborative code sharing, and
developing models that employ statistical methods, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to deepen
understanding and improve cancer health equity.
