Abstract

Coordination Center ? MGH The goal of the Coordination Center Innovation Funnel for HIV/AIDS is to provide fundamental operational and logistical support services to a RADx Innovation Funnel seeking to accelerate the development of point-of-care and home-based HIV diagnostic technologies. The Coordination Center is a trans-NIH focused activity that requires specialized and comprehensive strategic, technical, and operational levels of support for NIH translational activities. Critical to the governance and implementation of complex funding initiatives is centralized coordination of processes, workflows, and resources. The Coordination Center is responsible for all day-to-day activities including communication and scheduling, application solicitation, electronic application submission, data management, application evaluation, project management, website management, technical and business support, coordination of clinical and commercialization resources, drafting standard operating procedures, and delivering progress reports. Commercialization Center ? VentureWell The goal of the Commercialization Center Innovation Funnel for HIV/AIDs is to provide technical, clinical, and commercialization expertise and resources to a RADx Innovation Funnel seeking to accelerate the development of point-of-care and home-based HIV diagnostic technologies. The Commercialization Center is a trans-NIH focused activity that requires professional services support across a range of commercialization domains to NIH translational activities. To support rapid technology development, consultants with specialized domain expertise are needed to assess and mitigate risks at various stages. The vetting and management of professional service consultants and vendors is a critical component of the parallelization effort to speed innovation.
