## Abstract

NIEHS seeks to develop and conduct a pilot cohort study of the US Bhutanese living in central Ohio drawing from the Bhutanese Community of Central Ohio Health Study (BCCOHS). The purpose of the BCCOHS is to establish the foundation for a prospective cohort to characterize the role of socioenvironmental factors and dynamic acculturation pathways on cardiometabolic conditions, related etiologies, and comorbidities in US immigrant populations like Bhutanese refugees.
