Abstract

Project Summary/Abstract: This application is being submitted in response to the Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) identified as NOT- CA-24-039. Lieberman is the PI of NIH 1U01CA269195, titled “Adapting a point of use test card, the chemoPAD, for protecting chemotherapy drug quality in sub-Saharan Africa,” which is an Affordable Cancer Technologies (ACTs) project. Champion is an investigator not named as personnel on the parent award who brings unique expertise in LCMS of proteins required for the proposed project. We are requesting an administrative supplement to develop tandem MS and colorimetric screening methods for L-asparaginase, a biological chemotherapy product that has been the subject of numerous quality concerns in the past 5 years.
