Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY/ABSTRACT This proposal aims to leverage and enhance existing resources to create a robust, interoperable set of CDEs that will facilitate better understanding, characterization, and treatment of T1D. The participating T1D consortia will continue to support, enforce, and sustain the adoption and compliance of the developed CDEs. Our sustainability plan includes promoting community usage, publish our findings and share outcomes with the T2D community. All established CDEs will be submitted to the NIH CDE Repository for endorsement. This collaboration will ensure that any existing relevant CDEs registered by other Institutes and Centers (ICs) are identified and reused where possible. New CDEs will be created with concept annotation aligning with the semantics of CDEs from other NIH projects, optimizing interoperability.
