## Abstract

NCI IT BPA - SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND SUPPORT has the following objectives to support the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative:
1.	Develop a strategy to ensure applications are using current technology stacks
2.	Improve the quality of the software engineering applications
3.	Improve management of the software development portfolio
4.	Improve the agility of software development and delivery
5.	Mature the software development environment

The overall goals: To design and develop scientific applications that are aligned with NCI mission and to keep up with changing technology trends and be able to adopt leading-edge technologies as needed to respond to changes in NCI scientific research breakthroughs and business administration priorities.
