## Abstract

The NHLBI has a need to transition the Catalyze Coordinating Center (hereinafter referred to as CatCC) to a contract mechanism in order to maintain a project management-oriented support framework and agile award management capability for the Catalyze program, with the goal of building and sustaining a pipeline of preclinical development initiatives. The CatCC will play a critical role in aligning these NHLBI initiatives to program goals in a collaborative environment.
