The BDF Toolbox project is a 40-month effort (including start-up and closeout activities). Year 1 will focus on the project goals of establishing baselines and improving the accuracy, timeliness, and maintainability of applications for cancer or disease-general use cases. Years 2 and 3 will add increasing attention to the objectives of generalizability and scalability. The contractor shall provide technical support, project management, and expertise to manage work performed under this task order and assist NCI and ARPA-H in developing BDF Toolbox tools as described in the following sections. The scope of work for the BDF Toolbox program will consist of support and expertise in task order management and technical support and development of the Technical Task Areas (TAs) as described more fully in Section 2.0 below. With cancer as an early use case, the BDF Toolbox project will seek to advance capabilities in the following TAs: • (TA1) Automated Data Capture: Lowering barriers to high-fidelity, timely data collection in computer-readable forms • (TA2) AI-Assisted Curation: Preparation for multi-source data analysis at scale • (TA3) Intuitive Exploration: Advanced and intuitive data exploration
