PROJECT SUMMARY/ABSTRACT The overall goal of the Administrative Office (AO) of the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center (PCC) is to provide customer-focused administrative and financial support for all major constituents of the Cancer Center, including members and associate members, students, fellows, staff, external collaborators, institutional representatives, patients, and the New York City community. The AO plays a crucial role in providing resources and expertise to support the complex and expanding cancer-related basic, translational, clinical, and population research enterprise across the NYU Langone Health system. Its responsibilities include administrative support to the Office of the Director, Executive Director, Shared Resource Directors, Program Leaders, Clinical Trials Office, and PCC membership, as well as the faculty with appointments in PCC and the Division of Hematology- Oncology. The Specific Aims of the AO are to: 1) oversee PCC strategic planning, 2 ) manage all aspects of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG), 3) oversee the development and maintenance of cancer- information technology (IT) systems, 4) provide integrated and user-friendly CCSG-related data and information to PCC Senior and Program Leaders, 5) ensure that all Cancer Center funds and resources are managed effectively, accurately, and accountably, 6) provide all PCC members with the support necessary to respond to internal and external funding opportunities, 7) enable the recruitment of cancer-focused clinical and research faculty, and 8) deliver timely and accurate communications to all major stakeholders internal and external to PCC.
