## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of polyurethane resins manufactured from diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 1,4-butanediol, and adipic acid as a component of cap liners used on bottles in contact with food. This action responds to a petition filed by BF Goodrich Specialty Chemicals.
