Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing a partial stay of compliance for the final rule defining the types of statements that can be made concerning the effect of a dietary supplement on the structure or function of the body for certain dietary supplement products. Dietary supplement products that were labeled, or for which labeling had been printed, on or before January 6, 2000, the publication date of the final rule, are eligible for the stay. This action is in response to two petitions for stay and reconsideration.
