## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Alpharma, Inc. The NADA provides for use of approved, single-ingredient amprolium and bacitracin methylene disalicylate Type A medicated articles to make two-way combination drug Type C medicated feeds used for the development of active immunity to coccidiosis, increased rate of weight gain, and improved feed efficiency in replacement chickens.
