## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending until January 1, 2006, the partial stay of certain provisions of the nutrient content claim regulations pertaining to the use of the term "healthy." This action is being taken to allow the agency to conduct rulemaking to consider amending the sodium content requirements for foods labeled "healthy." A stay also will provide industry time to implement any changes resulting from the rulemaking.
