## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Bayer Corp., Agriculture Division, Animal Health. The NADA provides for veterinary prescription use in dogs of an imidacloprid and ivermectin topical solution for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis).
