Abstract
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is revising the regulations governing scientific peer review of research grant applications and research and development contract projects and project proposals to clarify the review criteria, revise the conflict of interest requirements to reflect the fact that members of Scientific Review Groups do not become Federal employees by reason of that membership, and make other changes necessary to update the regulations.
