## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to codify a previously approved new animal drug application (NADA) held by Merck Research Laboratories, Division of Merck & Co., Inc. The NADA provides for use of nicarbazin and bacitracin methylene disalicylate in Type C broiler feeds for prevention of certain forms of coccidiosis and for increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency.
