Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is confirming the effective date of March 30, 1995, of the final rule published in the Federal Register of February 27, 1995 (60 FR 10495), that amended the color additive regulations to provide for the safe use of the colored reaction product formed by copolymerizing 1,4-bis[4-(2- methacryloxyethyl)phenylamino] anthraquinone with 3-[tris(trimethylsiloxy)silyl]propyl vinyl carbamate (CAS Reg. No. 134072-99-4) and N-vinyl pyrrolidone to form contact lenses.
