## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of hydrogenated dipentene resin for use as a component of adhesives and coatings, hydrogenated dipentene-styrene copolymer resin for use as a component of adhesives, and hydrogenated-beta-pinene-alpha-pinene-dipentene copolymer resin for use as a component of adhesives and coatings intended for use in contact with food. This action responds to a petition filed by Yasuhara Chemical Co., Ltd.
