## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of 4,5,6,7- tetrachloro-2-[2-(4,5,6,7-tetrachloro-2,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-1H-inden-2- yl)-8-quinolinyl]-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione (C. I. Pigment Yellow 138), as a colorant for all food-contact polymers. This action is in response to a petition filed by BASF Corp.
