## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting the final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of March 3, 1995 (60 FR 11899). The document amended the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of chlorine dioxide to control the microbial population in poultry process water. The document was published with some errors. This document corrects those errors. Additionally, the agency is revising some of the discussion in the preamble for clarification. These changes are not substantive and do not affect the agency's conclusion regarding the use of chlorine dioxide in poultry process water. The codified regulation remains unchanged.
