## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of polymethylsilsesquioxane as a surface lubricant or anti-blocking agent in polyolefin films intended for use in contact with food. This action is in response to a petition filed by GE Silicones.
