Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of May 21, 1996 (61 FR 25395). The document amended the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of formaldehyde, polymer with 1-naphthylenol, as a release agent, applied on the internal parts of reactors employed in the production of polyvinyl chloride and acrylic copolymers intended for food-contact applications. The document was published with some errors. This document corrects those errors.
