## Abstract

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is amending its center grants regulations in order to incorporate changes necessitated by enactment of the ADAMHA Reorganization Act and the National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act of 1993, and is merging the regulations governing its grants for national alcohol research centers with its center grant regulations in accordance with the goals of the President's Regulatory Reinvention Initiative.
