## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Pharmacia & Upjohn Co. The supplemental NADA provides for expanding the use of clindamycin hydrochloride liquid by adding indications for the treatment of soft tissue infections (wounds and abscesses) and dental infections caused by or associated with certain, susceptible stains of bacteria in cats.
