Abstract
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is confirming the effective date of September 4, 1996, for the final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of August 2, 1996 (61 FR 40317), and amended the color additive regulations to provide for the safe use of ferrous lactate for the coloring of ripe olives.
